Recipes Nate would love: Cauliflower Candy

No actual candy is involved in this recipe, but the result is so yummy it's hard to stop eating it! Thus the name.

I feel like Jayden would totally come up with this recipe to feed Jude some veg! By the way, the paperback is available for a little bit before it disappears until October.

Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower (fresh or frozen)

  • Turmeric powder

  • Garlic powder

  • Onion powder

  • Salt

  • Olive oil

For this one, I think I actually prefer frozen cauliflower (works if it's a mix that also contains broccoli too) because it saves time, but if you have got fresh separate the florets first, and you can also use the leaves by chopping them sideways in 1cm chunks.

Preheat the oven at 200 celsius with the grill on if possible. Spread the cauliflower on a baking tray, sprinkle 1 tsp of turmeric powder, another of garlic powder and onion powder. Salt to taste, and then add the olive oil and toss with a spatula.

Cook in middle rack of hot oven for about 20 minutes, turning halfway and adjusting for your grill's intensity so as not to burn it.

Try not to eat them all before you serve ;p
