*Also really shiny (pun intended) deluxe hardbacks.

When I did the audiobook for “Omega for the Pack” in 2019 I was super excited, and I lucked out and found Gary Furlong, who nowadays has become a star in the M/M romance community because he is awesome at his job.

That said, a lot of listeners don’t want to give a first book in the series a go if the rest of the series isn’t there, so I decided it was time to fix the problem!

The solution? Kickstarter.

What is this Kickstarter thing, NJ?

NJ: Well, as a creative person, I can imagine anything, but is it something other people want?

Also, is it something I can make with the resources I have got on my own? In this case, no, because audiobooks are expensive. That’s why I thought I would ask other people who are fans of The Stars of the Pack to help out so we all get Gary Furlong reading us to sleep (or not sleep, we don’t judge here).

Kickstarter says: Well, if it is something they want, they can promise to give you the money for it and you can promise to reward them with the magical creation. No money exchanges hands unless you get to the number.

NJ: And what if we smash the goal? Can I do more? Can I offer all the audiobooks in the series for only £20/$26?

Kickstarter: Sure, as long as we make enough to create them, distributing them to more people just spreads the love. Plus real fans deserve the reward.

NJ: They do! And well, once I started dreaming, I also really really wanted deluxe hardbacks, and I figured you might as well. Plus some postcards just because, and annotations because I want to share my obsessive love of these guys with you.

At the moment there are 14 days left, and we are 85% to meeting the goal of making "Simpler Than Most" into audio. But can't count my birds until they are in hand! So if you would like to listen to Sergi's and Iesu's romance, pledge now!

Any questions, ask in the comments and I'll be happy to explain!
