The new moon (when I try to post updates) was actually on the 23rd, but I have been a little busy. I arrived in London on the 21st and then had to get to Essex to my sisterās house. And this of course means⦠kittens! I have fresh cuteness to share, but letās start with business, shall we?
I have now signed and mailed all the special edition hardbacks from The Stars of the Pack Kickstarter and phew⦠I feel SO much better for it. I couldnāt have predicted the amount of trouble Iād run into to get these very gorgeous books done and I felt really bad about keeping everyone waiting.
At some point, Iāll put them up for direct sale on my site (sans signature), but for now, they belong exclusively to the Kickstarter patrons. Here are some photos:

Penpals! Those who signed up, please check your spam, I have received at least one email about getting no response. I mean, we all get busy, so that could be a reason, but itās also so easy to miss an email amongst the bombardment. Plus, this is also an excellent time to remind you to search for my name and favourite/add me to your contacts/send me a smiley so your email provider knows Iām cool and you wanna hear from me š

I have began a new blog series called Forgotten Love Stories, and this month the spotlight is on Runt of the Litter. If you have read it, there are some never-seen-beforeĀ cut scenesĀ and a Q&A you can check out. If you havenāt, come be tempted by a reverse age gap omegaverse!

I have now received A Quiet FireĀ back from my proofreader and the cover is very nearly done, so expect it to drop any minute now in my shop. If you want to enter to win an ARC, there is still a bit of time,Ā read chapter one hereĀ and comment with a guess of whatās going to happen/email me about it.
Since I'm feeling good and productive, I'll up the ante to a $10 gift card from my shop and a copy of A Quiet Fire.

In the meantime, check out these freebies, there are quite a few new-to-me-authors!

Real life... Well, Seville in August was a very unwise plan. I had not realised one could walk down the street and feel their skin burn under the sun like one does when getting too close to an oven.
Itās also really pretty, but yeah, maybe go for April if you are gonna. Also some pictures of Cadiz (next to the water, so rather obvious which) where I went to meet with my sister Faro for her birthday and saw the most stunning sunset.
Being back in London is rather a lot. On the one hand, itās central London so I feel like a total tourist (and taking photos to prove it!), because I havenāt lived in zone 1 since before I went off to Glasgow for university, so 2010 (Time is clearly broken because WTF) and in fact, itās fine as a tourist but completely overwhelming at the same time to be surrounded by the crowds and the noise. On Saturday, we are going to my actual neighbourhood at the edge of Southern London and I expect that will make me cry. I donāt have any regrets about moving to Argentina, but I do get nostalgic (itās not even been 2 months since my flat sale was finalised, after all) and I will miss a lot of things from the UK, mostly people.
Anyway, have some pretty London pictures since I probably have never thought to share any before!

And finally, my nieces! (because I'm a rebel and I have decided to use feminine nouns for groups that are majority female... also, it's weird that English doesn't have a collective noun for child-of-siblings) You met my sisterās newest cat child Hugo briefly but now I got to take some up close shots and also ALL the cuddles. Hugo came from an owner who wasnāt very affectionate and heās making up for it every second of every day... Heās basically a Huge Cuddle Monster. Letās say the girls might have some competition in my favourite cat spot ;)
For newbies, Hugo is black and white, Sasha is grey and Shelby is a fluff queen.
Happy reading!
