Too good to be True

You got told this too, right? That you should disbelief anything that felt like a blessing you had not paid for. That nothing was given for free, and that luck was an accident one should distrust.
Like you could barter for a sunset to take your breath away, or a peach so ripe biting into it makes you moan, or your own body's unexpected joys--a good stretch, the softness of a hand or a soft cloth over your skin.
Ah, but you pay for cloth, you will object. And yes, you do, but finding a shirt that fits well or a scent that makes you perk up, or getting that cup of coffee at just the right temperature?
Those are still blessings you could not have paid for. That is the lie, really; that if you make enough money, you will be able to pay to turn the world into whatever your convenience demands.
That's where the rich arsehole stereotype comes from. There are adults in this this world who will throw a fit if it rains when they wanted sunlight.
And to imagine that is being rich... Well, it will put anyone off wanting to try.
Except, of course, that it's the opposite. Abundance is the feeling of having more than enough, the knowledge that there will always be plenty to go around and there is no need to hustle or scramble.
To work hard without fear, to rest when it’s time to rest with full faith you won’t run out of time to do what needs to be done.
And gratitude is the path to abundance because it makes us pay attention to everything we already have (whether you believe the higher vibration will help you manifest more things to be grateful for or not, isn't it the state you want to live in regardless?).
So what if it isn't too good to be true?
What if the question is: how could it possibly get better? But it's not rhetorical, it's inspirational.
Today the answer for me appears to be that the gorgeous flat I found on my first try (literally my first visit, and damn did I debate with myself about having to see more options before deciding!) also has got a gorgeous library one block away where I can sit and work any time I feel like a change of scenario.
If you are so inspired, tell me about the last beautiful surprise life brought to you in the comments.
