The Swap

“What’s that?” Jack asked, taking a seat.

His older brother shook his head, refolding the letter he held. “Where’s Enzo?”

“He was just with Tony,” Jack explained. They were all enjoying having their omega full of their pups again, but Jack thought Enzo was taking a little far, fucking Tony at all hours of the day and night. For him, the real relief had been getting the previous litter out of their hair and with their fathers two months earlier—for almost two years, he’d had to feel other alphas’ pups in Tony’s belly every day. It’d driven him spare.

“Let’s have some tea,” Giorgio told him, which Jack understood as the indirect order it was. He rolled his eyes as he turned around. There was a delicate equilibrium to sharing an omega with his two older brothers and it took a lot of patience on Jack’s part.

It was worth it, to have Tony. He knew he couldn’t have found a male omega on his own, and that Enzo and Giorgio had made a concession to their own preferences for him. So it wasn’t too much to ask that he made tea for everyone like he was a beta or something. The routine settled him anyway, and he needed that when he could sense something was up with Giorgio.

Enzo showed up just in time to steal a ginger biscuit off the plate, naturally. “Careful!” Jack snapped at him. “You’ll make me spill everything!”

Enzo snorted. “Day you can’t carry a plate and a couple of cups—”

“Enough,” Giorgio cut in, firm and full of alpha power.

It made Jack’s wolf stiffen inside. He was an alpha too, but his brother was the head of the pack, and he wasn’t about to let anyone forget it.

They sat across from Giorgio, passing the cups and sugar in silence.

“We’ve had a proposals. For Tony.”

Jack’s heart sank. They hadn’t talked about Tony’s future litters, but they had made enough money with the last two that Jack had hoped…

“It’s not money,” Giorgio said, like he could read Jack’s thoughts. “We don’t need that, with what we invested and all. But this…” He passed it to Jack. “Read it to us.”

He opened it, but for a moment, he couldn’t make his eyes focus on the words. It was handwritten in beautiful cursive, which he could read but not easily. He did his best anyway, and Enzo didn’t even tease him about what a poor job he was doing. All he could think was ‘no’, but he already knew he couldn’t say it.

There was something else about sharing an omega with his brothers that he knew very well; he could only push them so many times, so he had to pick his battles very well. And even as it went against everything he wanted, the words had a certainty to them, a meticulous logic he couldn’t think how to argue with. He stopped, swallowed. “Sounds like a toff.”

Enzo grunted his agreement.

“Yes,” Giorgio said. “But this toff has an omega he is offering us. An omega whose pups would be able to mate with Tony’s extra litters when they grow. You never thought about that, did you? How we going to get the pack not to become a— a disgusting incestuous mess?”

Jack hadn’t. He wasn’t the kind to think of the future, which was why Giorgio was top alpha and not him, he supposed. “Well, they can just… go to other packs, no?”

“And what did we do all this for then?” Giorgio almost growled.

“No way,” Enzo said, and it took Jack a moment to understandw the tide had turned against him. “Our omega, our pups. Well, our pack’s. They should stay. You said we were gonna buy more land when it came up for sale, right?”

Jack watched them as they talked about costs and benefits, how they would build houses for their children—who were now three years old and being cared for by pack betas—so they could start their own families one day, maybe put a call out for wolves from other packs to join, too.

“But right now,” Giorgio said. “We got a problem, and we didn’t even know we had a problem. But luckily.” He tapped the letter. “We got a solution too.”

“Is it really a problem?” Jack tried once more. This battle mattered, but he didn’t want to go all in quite yet, not if he was going to lose anyway. He was already stuck being the little brother, he didn’t want to lose face in front of the other two alphas. “If we have lots of young people who need mates and a rich land, won’t mates just come for them?”

Giorgio shook his head. “You can’t trust young people with stuff like that. You saw how Tony’s brother went mad for Isabella. You think our kids won’t do something rash for a pretty face too and leave?”

Jack shrugged a little, hiding his eyes. He didn’t like to think of their sister. She’d fallen in love with Peter, too, but last he’d heard, she’d been well onto her own third litter for her mate. It wasn’t any of his business, he knew that, because they’d given her away, but… He couldn’t help but think that female omegas had no need to be pregnant all the time.

“We’ll raise them right,” he said, but it came out too low, and Enzo snorted.

Their older brother sighed. “Jack, I know you have a soft spot for Tony, but come on, think about it rationally.”

Rationally. Jack grit his teeth. He couldn’t think about it rationally, was the thing. Tony had struggled when they’d put him on the breeding rack, of course, and he’d cried for days after his second litter had been removed. But the last time had been almost worst, as the day of his third birthing approached, he’d gone quiet, barely responding. He’d got wet around Jack’s cock, and Jack knew his body had felt good, but to Jack, it’d been almost like fucking his own fist. Tony hadn’t been there with him.

“It’s just… we don’t know this Theon guy!” he spluttered, feeling childish and desperate.

“He’s an alpha,” Giorgio said. “And a smart man, what else do you want to know?”

Jack thought wildly. “What if he wants to take Tony away? Or his omega with our pups in him?”

Enzo growled, but Giorgio dismissed the idea with a wave. “That’s just logistics. We’ll put them up in the guest house or something.”

"And if you are so worried about Tony," Enzo said then. "We can just put them side by side." He sounded like he liked the idea. Jack didn’t see why, he’d hated standing by while other alphas mounted his omega. Tony had been a wreck afterwards, but there was no helping that, omegas never felt quite safe with alphas who weren’t their mates.

He sighed, knowing when you were beat was the better part of valour, he knew that. And he wasn’t protecting Tony by having this pointless argument. If Giorgio had decided and Enzo was on board, it was basically a done deal. It would be difficult for Tony, of course. And for Jack too. But once it was done, Jack could gather him in his arms and Tony would cling to him, crying until he was spent. He liked that part, feeling special to his omega, knowing he could comfort him.

“I guess it would be nice,” he conceded. “To breed in another omega.”

“Did he say how many pups he’s been able to get in him?” Enzo asked, leaning close to peer at the paper.

Tony’s and his alphas story can be found in His Brother’s Dowry and the smart alpha is the main villain in The Alpha Solution, where you can find how many pups he got into his own alpha-turned-omega mate.

Untitled porn: What happens next…?

Surprise, I wrote some porn! (Possibly because my current project is very psychological and I needed the release ;) But also, surprise, I haven't finished it yet. Should we go for some omega revenge?
